How to Recognize & Catch Shiny Eevee
Shiny Eevee has pale, silvery fur instead of brown. Its Shiny form does not appear on the overworld map, so tap each Eevee and look for the sparkles and Shiny symbol in the encounter.
Check Each Encounter
You cannot identify Shiny Eevee from its map appearance. Open more encounters to check for one.
Favorite Your Shiny Catch
Favorite Shiny Eevee as soon as you catch it, then add a tag to keep it easy to find and avoid transferring it by mistake.
Watch for Eevee Events
Events may bring more Eevee encounters. Only assume boosted Shiny odds when the official event announcement confirms them.

1. Why should I make Eevee my buddy?
Walking with Eevee can earn Eevee Candy, while buddy activities earn hearts. These also help you work toward the requirements for evolutions such as Espeon, Umbreon, and Sylveon.

2. Can I trade Eevee with another Trainer?
Yes. Its IVs are rerolled when traded, and a Pokémon can only be traded once. Shiny Eevee and forms the recipient has not registered may require a Special Trade.

3. Can a costumed Eevee evolve?
Some costumed Eevee can evolve, while others cannot. Check whether an Evolve button is available and review that costume's event details before planning an evolution.
