Rare Candy Cheat of Pokemon Video Games

In this section, we focus on official Pokemon games developed by Game Freak and published by Nintendo, such as Pokemon Emerald, FireRed, Platinum, and more. These are the classic titles where players often look for GameShark Rare Candy cheats, Code Breaker cheats, and other emulator-friendly codes to speed up training.

1 Pokemon Emerald Rare Candy Cheat

A Rare Candy raises your Pokemon by one level in Emerald. The two Pokemon Emerald Rare Candy cheats below send the items to different places, so choose the collection method you prefer.

Steps to Use Rare Candy Cheat in Pokemon Emerald:

Step 1: Enter the cheat codes in your Pokemon Emulator.

Step 2: With BFF956FA 2F9EC50D, open the PC's item storage and withdraw Rare Candies. With 82005274 0044, visit a Poke Mart and buy the first item, which the code replaces with Rare Candy. These two collection routes also help explain why nothing appears immediately in your Bag.

Step 3: Disable the code after collecting your items, then use a Rare Candy from your Bag to level up your Pokemon.

2 Pokemon Fire Red Rare Candy Cheat

For FireRed V1.0, enter 82025840 0044 as a CodeBreaker cheat. Open a PC, choose your item storage, and withdraw the Rare Candies. This CodeBreaker route does not require a separate master code.

Playing FireRed V1.1? Use the Action Replay/GameShark setup below, listed in PokeCoders' version-specific FireRed guide.

Step 1: Add each group as an Action Replay/GameShark entry in your emulator. Keep both lines together for the Master Code and Anti-DMA entries.

Step 2: Enable all three entries together, then open the PC's item storage and withdraw your Rare Candies.

Step 3: Switch all three entries off after collecting the items you need.

3 Pokemon Crystal Rare Candy Cheat

According to Pokemoncoders, the rare candy cheat in Pokemon Crystal is as below.

4 Pokemon Platinum Rare Candy Cheat

In Pokemon Platinum, activating the code will add 999 rare candies to your bag. Note that using this code will replace any other medicine items in your bag, so avoid it if you want to keep other medicines. Press L and R simultaneously to activate.

How to Use Cheat Codes:

Step 1: Enter the code into your Nintendo DS emulator or Action Replay.

Step 2: Press L + R together while in-game.

Step 3: Open your bag > Medicine tab > You'll see 999 Rare Candies.

5 Pokemon Black 2 & White 2 Rare Candy Cheat

Looking for Rare Candy cheats in Pokemon Black 2 and White 2? These Nintendo DS titles require Action Replay cheat codes. Use this code and press Select to receive 900 Rare Candies in your Bag.

6 Pokemon Ruby Rare Candy Cheat

The Pokemon Ruby Rare Candy Cheat code is 280EA266 88A62E5C. If you want to use the cheat code, you need to open your GBA emulator, go to Pokemon Center, and then check if the rare candy appears in your bag. If not, you can try to enter the code again.

7 Pokemon Leaf Green Rare Candy Cheat

The rare candy cheat in Pokemon Leaf Green is 82025840 0044. You can play the game on an emulator and copy the code in the Code Field to activate the rare candy.

8 Pokemon GO Rare Candy Cheat

Pokemon GO has no emulator-style Rare Candy code. Rare Candy is a reward item you can convert into Candy for a Pokemon of your choice. Catching and hatching normally give that Pokemon's species Candy, so those actions serve a different purpose.

• Win raids: Successful Raid Battles can award Rare Candy. Use your passes on bosses you also want to catch so the battle helps with both goals.
• Claim research rewards: Complete tasks that display Rare Candy as a reward. For Timed Research, finish the tasks and collect the rewards before the timer expires.
• Spend it on your chosen Pokemon: Open your Item Bag, select Rare Candy, then select the Pokemon to receive its Candy. Rare Candy XL converts into that Pokemon's Candy XL instead.

9 Pokemon Yellow Rare Candy Cheat

There are two ways to use Rare Candy cheats in Pokemon Yellow (Game Boy / Game Boy Color version).

Way 1: Enter 01281dd3 and 01281ed3.

Way 2: Enter 019946d3, 019947d3, 019948d3, 01287BCF. After entering the codes, go to the PokeMart and buy the first item - it will be replaced with 99 Rare Candies.

10 Pokemon Blue Rare Candy Cheat

The rare candy cheat code in Pokemon Blue is 01287CCF, which can give you lots of cash to buy rare candies.

11 Pokemon Soul Silver & Heart Gold Rare Candy Cheat

You can get 99 rare candies in Pokemon Soul Silver & Heart Gold by holding L and R at the same time, then enter the cheat code:

12 Pokemon Sapphire Rare Candy Cheat

Like Ruby, Pokemon Sapphire uses a GBA GameShark cheat code for Rare Candy. The rare candy cheat code in Sapphire is 280EA266 88A62E5C.

Activate the code, go to a Pokemon Center, and check your bag or PC for the Rare Candies.

13 Pokemon Diamond Rare Candy Cheat

In Pokemon Diamond, players can use Action Replay codes to get 999 Rare Candies directly in their bag. This is the most efficient way to level up your team without grinding.

14 Pokemon X & Y Rare Candy Cheat

In Pokemon X and Y, you can exchange 500 Poke Miles for one Rare Candy at the PokeMileage Club in Lumiose City. If you already have miles saved, this gives you a straightforward way to use them.

The old Wonder Trade farming route ended with Nintendo 3DS online services on April 8, 2024. You can still earn Poke Miles through local trades, StreetPass, and walking in the game. Walking earns one mile per 1,000 steps, so I would use miles you already have before setting out to grind for another Rare Candy.

Pokemon ROM Hacks Rare Candy Cheats

In this section, we cover Rare Candy cheats for some of the most popular Pokemon ROM hacks - fan-made versions based on official games like FireRed and Emerald.

1 Pokemon Radical Red Rare Candy Cheat

Pokemon Radical Red is a challenging ROM hack of FireRed, featuring advanced AI and competitive mechanics. Its built-in Rare Candy option can save you time between difficult battles.

Built-in option for Radical Red 4.1: Interact with the game console in your bedroom in Pallet Town and enter Woyaopp, with that capitalization. Then speak to the youngster in the grass in Viridian City to collect Rare Candies. Enter this password in the game itself; the Woyaopp method uses a different entry point from the emulator code below.

Rare Candy Code (CodeBreaker): 82025840 0044

How to Use:

Step 1 Open your GBA emulator and enter the code as a CodeBreaker cheat.

Step 2 Go to any Poke Mart, and the first item for sale will be replaced with Rare Candy.

Step 3 Alternatively, check your PC storage for Rare Candies.

2 Pokemon Unbound Rare Candy Cheat

Pokemon Unbound combines a custom storyline with modern features. For its Rare Candy code, the Unbound release matters: match any setup instructions to your hack version and emulator before enabling the entry below.

3 Pokemon Gaia Rare Candy Cheat

Pokemon Gaia is a FireRed-based adventure. Use Gaia-specific code instructions for your release when setting up the Rare Candy entry below; the FireRed base alone does not establish compatibility.

Rare Candy Code: 82025840 0044

4 Pokemon Glazed Rare Candy Cheat

Pokemon Glazed is a popular ROM hack based on Pokemon Emerald, which means it uses a different set of cheat codes compared to FireRed-based hacks.

5 Pokemon Pisces Rare Candy Cheat

Pokemon Pisces is a FireRed-based ROM hack with its own storyline and regional features. Match the Rare Candy entry below to your Pisces version and emulator rather than applying the original FireRed setup automatically.

Rare Candy Cheat Code: 82025840 0044

6 Pokemon Recharged Yellow Rare Candy Cheat

Pokemon Recharged Yellow remakes the classic Pokemon Yellow version on the Emerald engine. It is a Game Boy Advance hack, so use a GBA emulator to play it.

Method 1 (Simple cheat): 01281DD3, 01281ED3

Method 2 (Buy 99 Rare Candies at Poke Mart): 019946D3, 019947D3, 019948D3, 01287BCF

Why Is My Rare Candy Cheat Not Working?

Nothing appeared? Start with the collection point: PC item storage, your Bag, and a Poke Mart are different destinations. Next, match the game's region and revision to the code and select its specified cheat format. Game revisions and code formats matter even when the game title matches. For codes with an activation key, press that key after enabling the cheat.

Got a different item? Disable the code before collecting more. Compare the entire code with the entry for your exact game, including its final item digits. Black and White, their sequels, and ROM hacks have separate setups. If your inventory has changed unexpectedly, return to your backup save.

Already collected enough? Turn the item cheat off and check your Bag before saving. Keep the earlier backup separately. For an Unbound Rare Candy cheat that will not withdraw, check the hack version and the code's destination first; a FireRed-based hack can change the original game's item storage.
